This chapter shows you how to install and configure the
P430 software drivers for HP-UX. Installation follows
standard HP-UX procedures; if you have any questions
about installation, please refer to your HP-UX
documentation.
The P430 NIC should already be physically installed
in your machine, and HP-UX should be up and running.
Use the installation disk (CD-ROM) that came with
your P430.

Login as root or use the SU command to
become root.
C A U T I O N :
If you do not know the root password for the
system, contact your system administrator.

a user, use the steps below to gain access to the
