120W RGBW LED Assembly Replacement
IMPORTANT! When replacing an LED, you must contact Vari-Lite Support and give the serial
number of the fixture and which LED position (1, 2 or 3) you are replacing so a matching LED,
performance wise, can be sent. That LED must ONLY be installed in the correct position of that light
to ensure correct performance of color calibration.
Tools:
• #2 Phillips screwdriver
• 3/32" hex driver
WARNING: Ensure that power is completely removed (disconnected) from luminaire before
attempting any work.
To remove 120W RGBW LED assembly:
Step 1. Remove power from luminaire and allow unit to completely cool.
Step 2. As illustrated in Figure 2-17 , remove both head covers by loosening each quarter-turn Dzus
fastener - four per cover.
Note: Each cover is secured by a safety tether. Locate clip attached to cover and unclip tether.
