12. Hardware Repair
This section provides instructions on how to remove and replace modules from the Media-Center.
12.1. Top
Cover
12.1.1. Top Cover Removal
WARNING:
Disconnect the AC power from the MCP9360i before removing the top cover.
1.
At the rear of the chassis remove the 4 torx screws (1). See Figure 12.1-1.
2.
Slide the top cover towards the rear, until the locking tabs disengage. See Figure 12.1-2.
3.
Lift the top cover straight up and remove it from the chassis.
4.
Store the top cover in a safe place.

12.1.2. Top Cover Re-Assembly
To re-assemble the top cover, do all steps described in paragraph 12.1.1 in reverse order.
Note:
The torque setting required for the top cover screws (1) is 8 kg-cm.
Note:
Check the top cover for damage after re-assembly.
