Personal notes

For search tuning two inputs are used:
1. Is there video recognition (sync detection (phi-1 lock) in the

HIP)

2. Is there a carrier (AFC crossing; PLL-lock)

The complete tuning procedure is illustrated in fig 6.6, but this
is all inside the HIP. There is also automatic switching for the
different videosystems.
