STANDBY ON / ECO POWER

Switches to standby mode or turns on the
system.

*Switches to Eco Power standby mode.

DISC: *searches backward/forward or selects a
track/chapter.

TUNER: tunes the radio frequency up/down or
selects a preset radio station.

CLOCK: sets the minutes and hours.

TV/AV: changes Philips TV’s channel (on the
remote control only).

STOP/CLEAR
–
Exits an operation.

DISC: stops playback or clears a programme.
–
TUNER: erases a preset radio station (only on
the main unit).

DISC: starts/pauses playback.

TUNER: *enters Plug & Play mode and/or
starts preset radio station installation (only on
the main unit).

DISC: starts programming or switches on/off
the FTS (favourite track selection) mode.

TUNER: starts *automatic/ manual preset
programming.

CLOCK: selects 12- or 24-hour clock display.

CLOCK/TIMER

Shows clock display for a few seconds or
enters clock setting mode.

*Enters timer setting mode.

OPEN/CLOSE

Opens/Closes the disc tray.

SOURCE

Selects the relevant active mode : TV/AV, DISC,
TUNER or AUX/DI.

TUNER: toggles between FM and MW band.

AUX/DI: toggles between AUX and DI (Digital
Input) mode.
