Vacuum cleaning
- You can carry the vacuum cleaner by the handle at the front or on top of the appliance (Fig. 15).

Pull the mains cord out of the appliance and put the mains plug in the wall socket.

Press the on/off button on top of the appliance with your foot to switch on
the appliance (Fig. 16).

To switch off the appliance, press the on/off button again.
Remote control operation
The remote control has three buttons with which you operate the vacuum cleaner. With the ‘+’ and
‘-’ buttons you adjust the suction power and with the standby button you switch the appliance to
standby mode.
Note: The remote control only works after you have switched on the appliance with the on/off switch on
the appliance itself.
Note: Replace the batteries when the light on the remote control does not light up when you press any
button on the remote control. See chapter ‘Before first use’.
Note: If you unplug the appliance without switching it off with the on/off button, the appliance
remembers the last selected setting (including the standby mode) of the remote control when you plug it
in again.
adjusting suction power
During vacuuming, you can adjust the suction power level with the + and - buttons on the
remote control.
- Use minimum suction power to vacuum curtains, tablecloths etc (Fig. 17).
- Use maximum suction power to vacuum dirty carpets and hard floors (Fig. 18).
Pausing during use

If you want to stop vacuum cleaning for a moment, press the standby button on the remote
control to switch off the appliance (Fig. 19).

Insert the ridge on the nozzle into the parking slot to park the tube in a convenient
position (Fig. 20).

To ensure stable parking of the telescopic tube, adjust the tube to the shortest length.

To continue vacuum cleaning, simply press the standby button on the remote control again.
Cleaning
Always switch off and unplug the appliance before you remove and clean any parts.
Do not clean any part of the vacuum cleaner in the dishwasher. If necessary, clean the parts with
a damp cloth.
