Serial number modification - EEPROM (OSD)
Update/Modify the serial number of monitor as shown in Fig. 1,
please follow the steps as below.
Hardware connection and procedure as below show.
Step 1 : Supply 8~12VDC power source to alignment box by
plugging a DC power cord or using batteries.
Step 2 : Connecting printer cable and Video cable of monitor as Fig.A
From PC MS Mode to run the I2c.exe and IICINF.exe
Step 1: Run I2C.exe as Fig. 2 then follow this step to change the S/N.
Serial Number edit for Hudson3
Tools Name : I2C.EXE under MS Mode
A:>I2C.exe 0 TY_123456
Parameter1: I2C interface
0: Use printer port
1: Use DI/o port
Parameter2: Serial Number
EX: TY_123456
[ _ ] : Mean Space
PS: The program needs to include IICinf.exe

When the serial number inside DDC IC has been
changed, the
Serial number modification in EEPROM (near CPU)
for On Screen Display (Factory mode & User mode)
serial number inside EEPROM (in User
mode, the serial number of monitor can be found
by OSD as shown in Fig. 1 also.) should be changed
at the same time.

Due to different communication structures were implement
for DDC IC and EEPROM (serial number) application as below.

Step 3: check serial number from production information in OSD menu
=> TY 000082
Step 2: After run a:>I2C.exe 0 TY_000082 you get below as Fig.3
The S/N change ok .
