7.3 Using Maps on Demand, POI Finder and Real-time

Maps on Demand
To download a Map (limit 3 maps per day) to your device or
Storage Card, follow the steps below after login:

Get a Map
1. Select the Country
2. Choose to search by City Name or Zip/Postal code
3. Enter the City Name or Zip/Postal code for the map
you want, depending on which Search format you
chose in Step 2
4. Select where to store the map. This window will show
all available storage locations as well as the available
amount of storage for each
5. The next window will show the possible matches for
your Search, as well as the size of each map listed.
Tap on the map you want and select the Forward
Arrow
6. Loading time for the map depends on the map size
and what type of internet connection you are using.
Wireless downloads are typically slower than direct
connections
7. When the spinning circle in the center of the screen
disappears, the download is complete, and the map
can now be found in your list of maps
Note:
When loading a map in this way, the POIs for Cash, Food,
Fuel, and Hotel, will not be included. Only the map itself will be
loaded.
