8.3 Installing Pharos GPS Hardware 

 

       

iGPS-SD 

1. 

Insert the iGPS-SD into 
the Secure Digital Card 
port of the Pocket PC.  
Make sure you have 
installed the iGPS-SD 
driver from the driver 
disc.  This is a separate 
process from installing 
any other software. 

2. 

To install the driver, 
connect your device to 
the computer/laptop via 
Microsoft Activesync and 
run the Setup from the 
Driver Disk. When 
finished, perform a soft 
reset on your device, 
making sure the iGPS-
SD driver is plugged into 
your device. This will 
activate the driver and 
allow you to use the 
GPS receiver.
