Keep your hands away from the moving knife! Danger of injury!
Switch on knife drive:

Move lever

backwards. The knife moves into operating position.
Switch off knife drive:

. The knife swings backwards.
Switch on edge guide:

into position by hand and press lever

into its operating position.

and let it click into position. The edge guide

Changing the knife:
The following work may only be carried out by technical staff or by
persons who have been properly instructed.

Switch off the machine.

Loosen screw

and remove knife

Insert new knife and push it close to needle plate insert

Slightly tighten screw

Adjust the knife according to Chaper 1.06.07 Knife position and tighten screw
