Place a piece of paper underneath the presser foot and perforate it with the needle.

Raise the needle a little and set the zigzag stitch adjustment lever

to the largest setting.
●
Perforate the paper to the right and left by turning the balancewheel back and forth.
●
Without turning it, move zigzag stitch eccentric

Needle penetration symmetry
Requirement
1. With the zigzag stitch setting at
"0"
the needle must enter the middle of the needle hole.
2. At the largest setting of the zigzag stitch the right and left needle-penetrations must be
the same distance from the middle penetration.
