It is designed for manual operation only.

Mechanical (compressed-air) operation is only
permitted with original Pfaff-silberblau accesso-
ries, and in accordance with the instructions given
in the corresponding manual (see F 06.01.073/001)
This device is not designed for permanent opera-
tion or for use in explosion-hazard areas.
Modifications may not be carried out on this jack
without our express written permission.
Please observe the technical specifications and
description of functions.

Safety precautions

This device must only be operated and serviced by
suitable trained and qualified personnel

(Definition of qualified staff as established in IEC 364)

Qualified persons are those whose education, experience,
training, or knowledge of the relevant standards and regula-
tions, accident prevention legislation and operating conditions
make them suitable to take responsibility for the safe
operation of the device – thereby recognising and avoiding
any potential hazard.

The user is responsible for the safe operation of
the jack.
The device is marked with its maximum lifting ca-
pacity.
The load to be raised must not exceed this
maximum weight.

When raising vehicles:

The device should be located under the jacking
points provided for the purpose by
the vehicle manufacturer and not
under the vehicle directly.
All lifting jacks must conform to
the specifications provided by the
vehicle manufacturer (see section
on wheel changing in the relevant
vehicle manual)
Do not stand on the jack or remain within the
danger area while it is being operated.
Do not stand under a raised load unless it is
additionally supported.
Never leave a raised load unattended without ad-
ditional support.

Use additional supports (e.g. axle stands) if
access to the underside of the raised vehicle
is required.

Do not touch any moving part of the jack.
A qualified service technician must repair all faults
immediately.

The jack should be positioned in
such a way that it is only ever
subjected to downward pressure.
It must not be subjected to lateral
pressure.
Before using the jack, ensure that
it is standing on a firm surface of
adequate load-bearing capacity.
Raise loads, vehicles, etc. on one
side only.
Do not use the jack in conjunc-
tion with other lifting gear.
The jack must only be loaded
with downward-bearing weights.
Chock the raised vehicle to en-
sure that it cannot roll away, slip,
or otherwise fall off the jack.

Do not exceed the maximum load capacity indi-
cated on the identification plate or listed in the
technical specifications.
Have the jack checked by a qualified service tech-
nician before it is used for the first time.

Have the jack serviced by a qualified technician at
least once a year.
Observe the inspection and servicing schedule.
Note that safe functioning cannot be guaranteed
unless original accessories and spares are used.
