Removal of the fork

- Remove the rear shield panel. See: Range 5.

- Suspend or immobilize the machine securely.

-

Remove the front brake caliper from the fork
tube.

Tightening torque: 30 Nm.

- Remove the front wheel.

Tightening torque: 60 Nm.

When re-installing, use a new nut.

- Remove the handlebars from the fork tube

(1 screw and 1 nut) (1).

Tightening torque: 45 Nm.

When re-installing, use a new nut.

- Remove the steering locknut (1) (2).
- Remove the adjustment cone (3).

Remove the fork.
