How to put the harness on

Fast
- Long ends: pass them
through the lateral
rings then through the
retainers behind the
rings.
- Short ends: use the
retainers in front of the
adjustment buckles.
Fast
Open the buckles
on the leg loops.
Open up the
harness (untwisting
the straps if
necessary) and
holding it by the
belt, slip it on over
your legs and pull it
up to your waist.
5A. Adjust the
waist belt.
Adjust the belt by
pulling on the belt
straps. Stow the
excess webbing
neatly using the
strap retainers (fl at
against the waist
belt).
5B. Fasten and
adjust the leg loops.
Fasten the FAST buckles.
Be careful of foreign
bodies which can impede
the operation of the FAST
buckles (such as pebbles,
sand, clothing...). Check
for correct locking.
Stow the excess webbing
neatly using the strap
retainers (fl at against the
waist belt).
