Powering the Infra-red dog door
Remove the top cover by pushing fi rmly on the paw prints
and by pushing upwards.
(Fig.11).
Place 4 x AA 1.5V Alkaline Long Life batteries in position
(Fig.12).
After you have powered the dog door it emits a low tone bleep indicating
the dog door is ready for programming. In addition to the bleep the red LED
will fl ash. Replace top cover.

Batteries should be replaced every 3-6 months. Do not use
rechargeable batteries. To increase battery life, place the dog door
in manual mode when not in use (see ‘manual operation’) and fi t the
optional locking barrier.
Powering the Infra-red key
Open the collar key by twisting a coin between the two fl anges
(Fig.13).
Remove battery holder
(Fig.14).
Place 1 x CR2 long life battery into the battery holder. The collar key LED
will fl ash 3 times indicating that the key is active
(Fig.15).
Replace battery holder into the collar key, clipping the 2 halves togehter
and ensuring the green PCB board is visible through the clear base.
(Fig.16).
The key will continue to fl ash at 2 minute intervals.
