If you are using small gel, disable the back anode using the levers on both sides of the anode (see
Second Anode (both side levers must be used)

Placing gel
Pull the tray to the outward position. Ensure that the Migele Gel Electrophoresis Unit's cooling plate is clean. Follow the
kit insert instructions when positioning the gel to the cooling plate. You can use the grid to position the gel. Cathode
wick needs to be positioned in the 0 position.
Closing the unit
Close the lid to the "locked" position (indicator label in the front panel shows green (see
indicated by green spot visible
on page 22). Push the tray to the inward position.
