1.9.12 Expansion CAN Connector (J11-1, J11-2)

The following table details the Expansion CAN Connectors (J11-1 and J11-2), which consist of two 8-pin RJ45
connectors wired such that each J11-1 pin connects to the matching J11-2 connector pin (daisy chain configuration).

1.9.13 Host Serial Connector (J12)

The following table details the Host Serial Connector (J12), which is provided with serial host interface N-Series ION
DKs. This connector supports two RS232 ports or a single RS485 port operating in either RS485 full duplex, or RS485
half duplex mode. This connector is a female DB-9.

1.9.14 Host Serial Header Connector (J15)

The following table details the Host Serial Header Connector (J15), which is provided with serial host interface N-
Series ION DKs. This connector provides a subset of the signals provided with the Host Serial Connector (J12). This
connector is an 8-pin 100 mil header.
