When ACDSee for PENTAX is installed on your Macintosh, Device
Detector will be installed as well. If Device Detector is set to On, the
images will be transfered to your Macintosh automatically when you
connect the camera to your Macintosh.

Select the destination folder and click [download].
The images are copied to your
Macintosh.
When Device Detector is set to Off,
double-click the [NO_NAME] icon on
the desktop and copy the image data
directly to your Macintosh from the
[XXXPENTX] (XXX stands for three-
digit number) folder in the [DCIM]
folder. Refer to the the operating manual supplied with the Macintosh
you are using for details on how to copy data.
If the SD Memory Card has a volume label, the volume label name
appears instead of [NO_NAME]. A new unformatted SD Memory
Card may show the manufacturer name or model number.
Transferring Images to Macintosh
• You need to start the Classic enviroment to use Device Detector
on Mac OS X.
• To change the settings for Device Detector, start Device Detector
that was installed in the ACDSee for PENTAX folder and choose
On or Off in the Preferences window.
• To edit images, first transfer them to your Macintosh.
