Getting Started

Turning the Camera On and Off

Turn the main switch to ON.

The camera will turn on.
Turn the main switch to OFF to turn off the
camera.

• Always turn the camera OFF when not in use.
• Turn the main switch to

to illuminate the LCD panel for about 10 seconds.

The depth of field can also be checked in the viewfinder by turning the main
switch to

position. See page 138 for preview display.

• Auto Power Off will be activated when you do not perform any operations

within a set period of time. (Default setting is 1 minute)
