MISCELLANEOUS MAINTENANCE
REPLACING THE BATTERY
The battery must be replaced exclusively by an approved distributor.
OUTSIDE THE PRUNING PERIOD
• Store the shears, battery pack and charger in a clean, dry and cool place, and check that the switch (12)
is in OFF position «0».
• Never store the battery at an ambient temperature greater than +45 °C.
•
To conserve the service life of the battery and to prevent its deterioration, it is essential to store it
in the charged state and to recharge it every 10 months when it is not used.
• Do not operate the switch during the storage period.
• OUT OF SEASON, you can have the pruning shears overhauled by an approved repair center. For
further information, consult your repair center or contact us.
•
The battery must be stored in a dry and temperate area between 0 °C and 40 °C. No flammable object
must be placed within 1.5 meters of the battery.
• Clean frequently to avoid the formation of abrasive paste (lub soil) as follows:
• Clean the front of the pruning shears using a cloth and compressed air; avoid the use of solvents such
as: trichlorethylene, white spirit, gasoline, etc.
• Grease the blade and the blade pins
lightly but often
(1 per week).
• Do not leave the pruning shears on soil or exposed to the weather.
INCIDENTS
If your pruning shears no longer work:

• If the pruning shears still do not work, return the assembly in its original packaging to an approved repair
center.
NEVER ATTEMPT TO OPEN ANY COMPONENTS (SHEARS, PACK, BATTERY) EXCEPT FOR THOSE
DESCRIBED IN THIS INSTRUCTION MANUAL (you may damage them, and in particular, you will
loose the benefit of the warranty).
•
The link kit (P/N 73361) must be replaced exclusively by an approved distributor.
•
EVERY 200 HOURS, replace parts 19, 20, 22, 23, 24, 25, 27, 28, 29.
•
These parts must be replaced as a precautionary measure or at least every year.
•
To do so, use the following replacement kits:
