DESCRIPTION OF THE CUTTING HEAD
REPLACING THE BLADE OR PINS
REPLACING THE HOOK
The hook must be replaced exclusively by an approved distributor.
CAUTION : Never operate the pruning shears without the blade and its pins; this will damage
the body of the pruning shears.
Follow the instructions in the given order:
• Open the blade

• Check that the inspection cover tab is in the open position

• Disconnect cord

from the pruning shears.
• Remove inspection hatch

• Remove nut

from the pin of blade

• Remove shouldered pin

by removing 3.17mm-diameter clip

and disassemble the assembly.
• Replace the worn parts.
• Reinstall blade

on the hook after having greased the contact surface, then install the pin of blade

• Reinstall shouldered pin

and a new clip

(only use new clips).
• Reinstall washers

and adjustment nut

• Reinstall inspection hatch

• Tighten adjustment nut

• Reconnect the pruning shears.

ACCESS COVER REPLACEMENT
CAUTION: Do not install the new access cover with the blade closed because it may be
damaged.
