Easy Cook
The Easy Cook function is suitable for bringing food to the boil rapidly
and then continue cooking at a lower setting. The hob will automatically
switch to the lower setting to finish cooking.
The Easy Cook function temporarily increases the power (setting ‘9.’) to
heat the contents of the pan. This function is available in settings 1-8.
Switching on the Easy Cook function
The hob is switched on and a pan is on a cooking zone.
• Touch and slide your finger over the multi slider of the desired
cooking zone to choose the correct setting and hold down your
finger on that setting for 3 seconds.
‘A.’ and the correct setting flash alternately in the display, the Easy
Cook function is active.

If you select a lower cooking stage, the Easy Cook function is
switched off.

If you select a higher cooking stage, the duration of the heating-
up will automatically be brought in line with the new cooking
stage.
• As soon as the Easy Cook time is over, the Easy Cook function
automatically switches off and the cooking zone continues at the
set power.
The table below shows the duration of the Easy Cook function for each
power setting:

Switching off the Easy Cook function
The hob is switched on. ‘A.’ and the power setting flash alternately in
the display.
• Touch and slide your finger (to the left) over the multi slider of the
desired cooking zone to set a lower level.
Or:
• Directly select a lower setting by touching the left side of the multi
slider of the desired cooking zone.
A different power setting is shown in the display and ‘A.’ stops flashing.
