OPERATION
Melting/keeping food warm
Use the melting an keep food warm buttons to switch on the function
to melt or keep food warm. The cooking timer is used to set the
maximum melting/warming time.
The melt function (u)
The function to keep food warm (U)
The melt function keeps the
temperature of the food at a
constant 42 °C.
The function to keep food warm
keeps the temperature of the food at a
constant 70 °C.
Switching on the melt function
The hob is switched on and a pan is on the cooking zone.
• Touch the On/Off button.
You will hear a single bleep and the
display for each cooking zone will show ‘0.’.
• Touch the melt button.
A light to the right above the melt button
illuminates.
• Touch and slide your finger over the multi slider of the desired
cooking zone to choose the correct setting.
The display reads ‘u.
with 2 heating symbols’.

Switching off the melting/keeping food warm function
The function to melt or keep food warm is switched on. The display
shows ‘u.’ or ‘U.’.
• Touch the multi slider somewhere in the slider area.
The function to
melt and keep food warm is now switched off.
