7 Installation instructions
7.1.4 Ventilation
The electronics in the appliance need cooling. The appliance
will automatically switch off if there is insuffi cient air circulation.
There are ventilation openings on the underside of the
appliance. It must be possible for cool air to be drawn in
through these openings. There are outlet openings on the
underside and at the front of the appliance.
7.1.5 Constructing above a load or an oven or fi xed pannel
Ventilation occurs through the plinth (A) and the back of the
cupboard (B). Saw out the ventilation openings (min. 100 cm
2
).
Air supply A is not necessary if there is another opening that
can supply air together with opening B.
Make sure the crossbar does not impede the airfl ow. Plane or
saw the crossbar C diagonally if necessary.
Do not allow a drawer to block the ventilation openings on
the bottom of the appliance.
If there is a drawer under the
hob, a gap of at least the width
of the hob should be made
at the front. The distance
between the drawer A and the
hob should be at least 10 mm.
