7 Cyclone Communication Protocols

Included with the Cyclone Automated Control Package Enterprise Edition

are documents describing the serial port RS232 and Ethernet communication
protocols used by the Cyclone. Knowing these protocols allows the developer to
manually send individual byte packets which will be interpreted by the Cyclone as
commands.

This is particularly useful for setups that wish to use multiple serial ports

on a single host PC, as the DLL does not support more than one serial port
connection. It is also useful for production environments that do not use Microsoft
Windows operating systems.
