7.2
Transfer of readings and statistics
The statistical values of the currently active file can also be transferred together with the single
readings.
Procedure:
1. Connect PCE-CT 100 with a PC by means of a USB interface cable or a Bluetooth
connection. The connection must be initialised from the PC
2. Press Arrow Down key twice until “Statistics” appears on the display
3. Press OK key; “Transfer of statistics” appears on the display
4. Press Arrow Down key; “Transfer statistics and readings” appears on the display
5. Press OK key; data are transferred and “In progress...” appears on the display for a short
time, followed by the start screen with the four dashes – – – –
If you want to transfer data from a file that is already closed, you can do this via File transfer to PC

Indication of statistics on the display
This section explains how to display the different statistical values of single value or of block value
statistics.
Procedure:
1. Press Arrow Down key twice until “Statistics” appears on the display
2. Press OK key; “Transfer of statistics” appears on the display
3. Press Arrow Down key twice until “Display of statistics” appears on the display
4. Press OK key; number of readings appears on the display (with block value statistics: number
of mean values)
5. Press Arrow Down key several times; the following statistics appear on the display in
sequence: mean value, standard deviation, maximum, minimum, variation coefficient and the
process capability indices Cp and Cpk (if the limits have been set) For block value statistics,
the sequence will be: average of mean values, standard deviation of mean values,
maximum of mean values, minimum of mean values, variation coefficient of the mean
values and the process capability indices
6. Press OK key to continue measuring; the start screen with the four dashes – – – – will be
displayed.

Indication of saved readings on the display
This section explains how to display the saved single values on the screen at any time.
Procedure:
1. Press Arrow Down key twice until “Statistics” appears on the display
2. Press OK key; “Transfer of statistics” appears on the display
3. Press Arrow Down key three times until “Display of readings” appears on the display
4. Press OK key; the first single value appears on the display
5. Press Arrow Down key repeatedly. The single values are displayed with a consecutive
number. If limits have been set, the readings will be displayed in colour.
Green
means: reading
is within the limits,
red
means: reading is beyond the limit. In addition to the coloured indication
of the reading, LIMIT ↑ or LIMIT ↓ on the top side of the display shows if one of the limit values
has been exceeded or fallen below. For block value statistics, the standard deviation for the
respective block will also be shown.
6. Press OK key to continue measuring. The start screen with the four dashes – – – – is
displayed
