Deleting all files
This section describes the process of deleting all files. All file names, readings and settings are
deleted. The memory contents of the Direct mode are not deleted by this action.
Procedure:
1. Press Arrow Down key repeatedly until “Data memory” appears on the display
2. Press OK key; “New file” appears on the display
3. Press Arrow Down key four times; “Delete file” appears on the display
4. Press OK key; “Delete one file” appears on the display
5. Press Arrow Down key; “Delete all files” appears on the display
6. Press OK key; “Delete all files?” appears on the display
7. Press OK key; “All files deleted” appears on the display for a short time, followed by the start
screen with the four dashes – – – –
After deleting, “Direct” appears on the display and you can now measure in Direct mode.

This section describes
- the process of transferring one or all files to a smartphone, tablet computer or PC,
- the process of selecting a file to be transferred,
- the predefinition of the content to be transferred; whether only the readings or only the
statistics or both should be transferred
File transfer requires a data transfer software like the one included with your meter.
10.1
Transferring the current file to the PC
This section describes the transfer process of the currently open file including readings and
statistics via Bluetooth or the USB interface of the PCE-CT 100 coating thickness gauge.
Note
: Alternatively, you can transfer data from the current file by means of the 2nd menu item

Procedure:
1. Connect PCE-CT 100 to the PC, using a USB interface cable or a Bluetooth connection. The
Bluetooth connection must be initialised from the PC.
2. Press Arrow Up key three times; “File transfer” appears on the display
3. Press OK key; “Send active file” appears on the display
4. Press OK key; “In progress...” appears on the display for a short time, followed by the start
screen with the four dashes – – – –
You can now continue measuring either in the currently active file or, after closing, in another file.
