7.1.7. Setting of the individual Alarm 1 and Alarm 2 for each channel
When an internal three-channel multiplexer has been installed, the Alarm 1 and Alarm 2
levels must be set up individually for each channel.
The main menu is changed as shown below, when a multiplexer has been installed:
A1.C1 A1.C2 A1.C3
:
Alarm 1 for channel 1, 2 and 3
A2.C1 A2.C2 A2.C3
:
Alarm 2 for channel 1, 2 and 3.
7.2. MAP Con 9000 (Proportional Flow/Pressure Controller)
An MAP Con 9000 can be connected to MAP Check 9000. When an MAP Con 9000 has
been installed (indicated by parameter
PA.3
in the setup menu (see "Setting up various extra
equipment" on page 18), the menu
P.F.C
(Proportional Flow Controller) or
P.P.C
(Proportional
Pressure Controller) will be added, depending on whether operation with or without by-pass
valve has been selected in
PA.3
in the setup menu. In the following, operation with by-pass
valve has been selected:
The submenus are the same whether
P.F.C
or
P.P.C
has been selected.
Furthermore, the
dia.
menu (diagnostics) is extended to include
reg.f
(Regulation flow) as
the first menu item, where the current regulation flow can be read.
For gas flow control purposes, MAP Con 9000 (P.F.C) is equipped with a by-pass valve which
is either open or closed. An infinitely variable proportional valve is connected in parallel with
the by-pass valve.
The
dia.
menu shows the current flow as
lo.xx
or
hi.xx
, where
lo/hi
indicate whether the by-
pass valve is open or closed, respectively.
Xx
is a figure between 0 and 99 which indicates
the degree of opening of the proportional valve.
If MAP Con 9000 without by-pass valve (P.P.C) has been selected, all parameters presented
as
lo/hi
will be locked to the
lo
area.
