If you receive an
invalid configuration
error after creating a configura-
tion, it is resulting from an illegal combination of variables. Refer to sec-

“Illegal configuration messages”

information.

Deleting a template
Do the following to delete a template:

When a template configuration is deleted, it cannot be recovered.
1.
Select a template from the
Delete Configuration
pop-up menu (see
figure 134
).
2.
Click the
Delete Con

guration
button.
Applying a template
This section describes how to apply a global configuration to all Model 1095RC rack cards other than those
that meet one of the following exceptions:
•
Model 1095RC rack cards installed in Model 1001 racks that have had the
Rack Protection Mode
option
set to
protected(1)
will not be configured if a global template is applied (see section
“Protecting a Model
1001 rack from global configuration”
on page 260 for more information.
