3 • Configuring the 3324 for operation
VLAN is enabled, all ports on the Model 3324 will belong to the default VLAN (VID 1). The default VLAN
cannot be deleted.
GVRP allows automatic VLAN configuration between the switch and nodes. If the Model 3324 is connected
to a device with GVRP enabled, you can send a GVRP request using the VID of a VLAN defined on the Pat-
ton Model 3324, the Model 3324 will then automatically add that device to the existing VLAN.
To create a VLAN and add tagged member ports to it follow the steps below.
From the main menu:
1. Click administrator
2. Click VLAN configuration
