1. Unable to detect device on the Corza_setup.exe Utility software?
A . 1) Make sure your CORZA and the RJ-45 network cable are properly
connected to PC and th epower cable is plugged in to the wall and the power
switch is set to ON (I) position.
2) It takes about two(2) minutes for PATRIOT CORZA to start after power is
turned ON. Before the setup process is completed, the system will not be able
to find the NAS Unit.
3) Check to ensure your IP address is not in conflict with other devices on the
network. In case of conflicts, change the IP address.
4) Press the “Reset” button at the rear panel of the device and allow the system
to restart and run the Corza_setup.exe Utility again.
2. Unable to access SL3640-2S-LB2?
A. 1) Check whether the network connection is normal and the network lights are blinking.
2) Check the unit for abnormal/error light. for more information please refer to page eight(8)
3) Power down the device and allow it to cool for about two(2) minutes.
3. Unable to access folders?
A . 1) Confirm whether the account and password are correct.
2) If you have logged in to any folder, and want to access folders using other
username and passwords be sure to log out of your operating system and
log back in order for the logout process to take effect.
4. Unable to use the device normally after replacing the hard disk?
A .The system configuration file of your NAS Unit is stored in the hard disk and does
not support the hot swap function. If you need to replace the hard disk, be sure to
shut down the system normally and turn off the power before removal. If you remove
the hard disk when the power is ON or the system is not fully shut down, it will result
in system confusion and can prevent you from using the device normally. The originally
stored data can get destroyed, If you remove the hard disk without turning off the
power and shutting down the computer, If you can not use the device normally after
placing the drives into the original positions, repeat the process while the device is OFF.
If the device still cannot operate normally, it mean that the original default value has
been damaged and you need to re-setup your Corza NAS box.
5. How to find and configure the IP address of your device upon initial inst allation when using Mac or
Linux System?
A . Since Mac and Linux systems cant use .exe files the Corza_setup Utility cannot
be used. The best way to set your device is to plug the device in stand alone LAN
port and use default IP Address 192.168.1.1 to access the Web based GUI page
to set up your device. For more information please refer to page ten(10) of this manual.
6. The error window cannot be displayed on the administrator computer after setting Pop-Up Notification.
A . When setting up Pop-Up Notification function, be sure to fill in the host name of the
administrator computer. to do so enter the “Service” option in “Computer Management” and
enable the “Alerter” and “Messenger” functions.
7. Mail notification cannot be received after setting the “mail notification” function?
A . Make sure that your mail host provider is on the same network without the need for a
router.If your mail host is installed on ISP or needs to be connected via router, you will be
unable to use this function.
