1. Remove the dust cowl/blade guard
.
2. Remove the saw table inlay / table insert
.
To do this, unscrew the two screws using a
cross-head screwdriver.
3. Turn the blade height adjustment wheel
to raise
the saw blade fully and incline the saw blade
to 45° using the blade angle adjustment thumb
knob
.
4. Unscrew the fittings on the cover plate to the
saw blade and swing the plate away.
5. Loosen the hex socket-headed screws and adjust the position of the riving knife.
6. Screw on the cover plate again tightly. Incline the saw blade back to 0°.
7. Put the saw table inlay back and screw into position.
8. Attach the dust cowl/blade guard
and bolt into position.
CARE AND CLEANING
Before starting any servicing tasks on the machine pull the mains plug out of the socket.
•
For cleaning, place the machine carefully on its side.
•
Use a thin paintbrush, hand brush or a blower.
•
Clean the machine regularly including
· the ventilation slots of the motor
· all the blade adjustment fixtures.
DISPOSAL
The packaging is wholly composed of environmentally-friendly materials that can be disposed of at
a local recycling centre.
Please contact your local council office to find out about disposal facilities for your worn-out
electrical tools.
