4.  Storing fi lters and fi lter elements

The storage space must meet the following conditions when the fi lter is to be 
stored for a longer period: 

◊ The fi lter must not be stored out of doors.

◊  The storage space must be dry.

◊  The storage space must be free of dust, or the fi lter must be packed dustproof.

◊  The storage space must feature an ambient temperature of at least +1 °C. 

Caution:
When you want to store the fi lter for a longer period (e.g. several 
months), you must check the threads for well running from time to time 
to prevent corrosion

Storing fi lter elements and cartridges

 

Store fi lters and cartridges in the unopened original packing until they are used.

For storage space requirements, see the previous section.
