6. Set the filter selector valve handle to Absolute Filter. Turn on the pump motor and operate until

fluid begins flowing into the clear tank chamber.

7. Stop the pump motor.

Servicing The Spin-on Cartridge Element

1. If the element is too tight to remove by hand a strap wrench may be used. Rotate the element

counter clockwise.

2. A plastic bag may be used to prevent oil from dripping on the demo machine and floor. Properly

discard the dirty element according to environmental regulations.

3. Lubricate the seal on the new element and carefully thread it on to the filter threaded spud.
