SECURE BRAKE COVER

Refit the brake assembly cover. Carefully insert the two 

tabs at the rear of the cover into the two slots to the rear 

of the chainsaw body.

FINGER TIGHTEN BOLT

Use your fingers to tighten the nut that holds the brake 

assembly in place. Turn the nut in a clockwise direction. 

This will secure the brake assembly in place until it is 

time to fully tighten the nut

REFIT THE BRAKE ASSEMBLY

TENSION CHAIN

While holding the tip of the bar, use the screwdriver 

provided to tension the chain. Turn the screw clockwise 

to tighten or anti-clockwise to loosen the chain.

With the chain tensioned correctly it is now possible to 

tighten the nut and allen bolt that secure the brake 

assembly in place fully. Do not over-tighten however.
