direction by checking the markings on the chain itself,
on the body of the chainsaw and on the guide bar..
Install the guide bar and slide fully towards the
sprocket. Loosely wrap the chain around the guide bar
making sure the chain sits within the groove found all
around the edge of the guide bar.

INSTALL THE GUIDE BAR
Again check your chain is pointing in the correct
direction. There are directional arrows displayed on
the chain, on the body of the chainsaw and also on the
guide bar.
CHECK CHAIN DIRECTION
Adjust the chain tensioner or guide bar position so that
the tensioner pin lines up with the bottom hole in the
guide bar.
Refer to the illustration above to verify the correct hole
(oval shape) is identified and not mistaken for the smaller
round hole to the right.

Ensure the chain is installed correctly, pay attention to the directional arrows on the chain and machine.
Using the chain whilst installed incorrectly will rapidly blunt the chain effecting its cutting efficiency
WARNING: Always wear safety gloves whilst handling the chain to prevent injury.
WARNING: Never attempt to install the chain or adjust the guide bar whilst the engine is running.
