Remedy for malfunctions
Differential pressure gauge
After a pressure peak, e.g. when a valve was
opened abruptly, the needle of the differen-
tial pressure gauge is locked. The needle is
behind the stop in the red area.
Caution!
Always check the fi lter elements
because one of them may possibly
have become damaged. Replace all
damaged elements.
Replacement of the fi lter element see
page 25.
After testing the fi lter element you must
reset the needle of the differential pressure
gauge:
– Carefully pry out the viewing glass on the
side of the stop pin with a screwdriver.
– Carefully lift the needle and move it back
over the stop.
– Insert the viewing glass again and push it
in until it is fi rmly seated.
Poor fi ltration performance
When the fi ltration performance is insuf-
fi cient even with a new fi lter element,
incorrectly chosen conditions of application
or fl ow rates can be the reason. Contact
your sales partner to fi nd a solution in such
a case.
Storage
Risk of collision and crushing
injuries!
Inform yourself of the weight of the
compressed air fi lter by checking
details on the type plate. Use a
storage location suitable for this
weight. Never store a compressed air
fi lter in raised locations from which it
could drop.
Store the pressure fi lter in a dry place where
it is protected against contamination and the
effects of weather.
Store the compressed air fi lter on a pallet or
on suitable wooden wedges.
Transport
Risk of collision and crushing
injuries!
Inform yourself before every transport
operation about the weight of the
compressed air fi lter by referring to
the details on the type plate. Use
appropriate auxiliaries for transport
purposes, e.g. a fork truck or a crane.
Always transport a compressed air fi lter in
the way it was supplied to you, e.g. horizon-
tally on a pallet.
As the attachment point for transport with a
crane, always use the lug on the top of the
housing.
