Safety instructions
Risk of injury from escaping
compressed air!
Never remove any parts of the fi lter, or
manipulate the same in any way, as long as
the fi lter is pressurised! A sudden escape of
pressure may cause serious injuries.
Depressurise the fi lter before carrying out
any work on the fi lter.
Hazard due to hot surfaces!
The fl uids fl owing through the fi lter can have
a temperature of up to 100 °C (212 °F). This
can heat up the fi lter housing.
Do not touch hot surfaces!
Wear safety gloves if applicable!
Contamination hazard
The fi lter housing and fi lter elements might
be contaminated by the removed sub-
stances. For this reason, make sure to heed
the safety data sheet of the used fl uid! Wear
protective clothing if applicable (gloves and
breathing protection).
Dispose of all parts in compliance with ap-
plicable disposal regulations after removal or
element change!
Hazard involving the fi ltration of critical
fl uids
The fi lters must not be used for the fi ltration
of explosive, combustible or toxic gases in
fl uid group 1.
Risk of collision or crushing
Inform yourself prior to transport, assembly
and disassembly of the weight of the com-
pressed air fi lter from the details provided on
the type plate. Use appropriate tools, e.g. a
fork truck or a crane.
Accident prevention
Heed the specifi c accident prevention regu-
lations, for example UVV/BGV in Germany.
Observe the operating instructions provided
by the system operator!
