11.4 Free training
This training menu lets you customize the training program yourself. Four training settings are possible.
11.4.1
Passive training
During passive training you are moved by the motor. You can adjust the rotational speed at any time up to
a maximum speed of 60 RPM.
11.4.2
Active training
During active training you pedal against an individually configured brake resistance of the motor. You can
adjust the resistance to 20 levels, depending on your individual requirements, from 1 = very low resistance
to 20 = very high resistance. We recommend beginning with a low resistance at the beginning of your
training.
11.4.3
Soft training
During soft training your active muscle participation is gently supported by the motor. This is especially hel-
pful when your muscle strength has decreased significantly. The motor starts at a slow speed to support
you.
