INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS - OPTION B

 

 

 

 

1. 

Select a suitable location and fix the J

 

arm (or straight arm) to the roof structure 
of the building or patio.

 

 

Method of bracketing frame into 
position supplied by installer.

 

 

Ensure arm is straight and level.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2. 

Feed 4 core electrical wire (supplied by

 

 

installer) down next to the gas pipe and

 

 

pull through far enough to enable joining

 

 

these wires to the wires on the heater

 

 

head.

 

 

 

 

 

 

3. 

Trim the 4 wires on the heater head to 

a

 

length of approximately 100 mm.

 

 

Enter the heater head into the top of the T 
piece and rotate the head to tighten it onto 
the hex nipple.

 

 

Use an approved thread sealant on these 
joints.  Make  sure  you  finish  with  the 
screw  holes  in  the  heater  base  lining  up 
with the holes in the T piece.

 

 

Use the 4 screws provided to fix the heater 
head to the T piece.
