PANIC ALARMS

The panic alarm, if programmed, will immediately generate an alarm after pressing and holding the

[1]

 and

[3]

keys for two seconds (see section

4.4) (disabled by default).

6.8

ALARM MEMORY DISPLAY

A record of the zones that were in alarm the last time the system was armed will be stored in memory. After disarming the system, press the

[

MEM

]

button to display the zones that were in alarm. To exit the

Alarm Memory Display

, press the

[

CLEAR

button. The control panel will erase the

contents of the alarm memory every time the system is armed.

Zone

[5]

will illuminate if an alarm has occurred on the keypad zone or if the keypad’s on-board tamper was triggered (see section 2.10).

The control panel cannot distinguish the difference between the two. Zone

[8]

will illuminate if the panic alarm keys (see section 4.4)

were pressed.

6.9

PROGRAMMING CHIME ZONES

Press and hold any key from

[5]

for 3 seconds to activate or deactivate

Chiming

for zones 1 to 6. For example, press and hold the

to enable chiming on zone 1. If after pressing and holding a key, the keypad emits a confirmation beep, the chime feature has been enabled for that
zone. If the keypad emits a rejection beep, the chime feature has been disabled for the corresponding zone.

6.10

KEYPAD MUTING

[

CLEAR

button for 3 seconds to enable or disable keypad muting. When muted, the keypad will only beep when a key is
