In the event of malfunc tion or breakdown of the Panther's elec tronic system, the c olumn
c an be elevated or retrac ted mec hanic ally.
Proc edure:
1.
When being retrac ted, the c olumn must be loaded with approx. 180 kg. When being elevated,
the c olumn must be relaxed (< 140 kg).
2.
At the same time, the motor brake must be kept open. Two sc rew drivers are of prac tic al help in
c ountering the brake disk's spring pressure. In c ase of any unc ertainty, please see our video tape
"Servic e Instruc tions".
