Symmetric al c onfiguration of 4 identic al wheel legs enables 1-wheel, 2-wheel and 4-wheel steering
(c rab & steer) from all 4 sides.
1-wheel steering
Disengage the loc king levers on two adjac ent kombi wheels and align them using
the ac c essory wheel loc king bar (order # 100514 or # 100522). Remove the fourth
kombi wheel. For safety reasons, the Super Panther III dolly may not be loaded
laterally (risk of tilting!)
2-wheel steering
Disengage the loc king levers on two adjac ent kombi wheels and align them using
the ac c essory wheel loc king bar (order # 100514 or # 100522). Connec t the
ac c essory steerage transmission rod (order # 100473 or # 100521) to the remaining
- steering - wheels, one of whic h is disengaged using the kombi wheel loc king
lever. The steering transmission rod attac hes to the wheels in the kombi brake
notc hes. The steering rod may be attac hed to one of the soc kets loc ated above
a steering kombi wheel.
4-wheel steering
The vertic al axles of all four kombi wheels are c onnec ted to the steering c hain.
The steering rod may be attac hed to any of the steering soc kets.
Note:
For safety reasons, the Super Panther III dolly may not be loaded laterally when
using 1-wheel steering, narrow gauge or c ompac t gauge c onfiguration (risk of
tilting!).
Whe e l l e g s
In order to set a wheel leg c onfiguration, press down the leg adjustment lever (14) to unloc k the
individual wheel position. The lever should c lic k bac k into plac e after release, but c hec k that it loc ks
sec urely to be quite sure.
When using a jib arm or outrigger, always use wide gauge wheel c onfiguration. Always pay attention
to load toleranc es (see "Load tolerc anc es diagram").
