CONNECTION MODE ACTIVE CONNECTION
After power on, the SCANNDY cradle automatically tries to establish a connection to the Remote
Host. This is called Active connection.
Click on the drop down window “Active Connection” to specify different options for an Active
connection.

Auto Start
The Cradle automatically connects to the Remote Host after power on.

With Any Character
The Cradle connects to the Remote Host as soon as it receives any character from the Host

With Start Character
The Cradle connects to the Remote Host as soon as it receives a the specified start
character from the Host

Specify the start character in the “Start Character” field

With Active Mdm Ctrl In
The Cradle connects to the Remote Host on an active DTR signal
