To update the system settings it may be possible that you need to restart your PC before you can
use the Profilic USB converter.
After you have restart your computer, please check the Hardware manager to find out the number
of the virtual COM port for the USB device.
As long as the USB converter connected to the USB interface, the hardware driver stays active.
After the user unplugs it from the USB interface, the driver information disappears from the
hardware settings and the virtual comport is not longer available.
It will be activated automatically on the next connection and generates the same COM port number.
