NETWORK CONFIGURATION
Assigning an IP Address
From the main page please click the link “Network” to enter the Network configuration parameters
of the Ethernet Cradle.
The Ethernet Cradle can either be configured to optain an IP Address automatically
Or you can specify an fixed IP Address by your self.
To automatically optain an IP Address, please click the radio button “Optain IP address
automatically” an input the DHCP Host name.
To specify a fixed IP address, please click the radio button “Use the following IP address
configuration” and input the IP address, Subnet Mask and Default Gateway according to your
network.
Leave the settings for Ethernet Configuration to “Auto Negotiate” and click the button “OK” to
setup the Ethernet settings.
NOTE
If the new IP address is in a dufferent range as the default IP address, you must setup the IP
address of your computer to the same range. Otherwise you can not access the Ethernet cradle
again.
