S.I.A. Safety - AUTOMATIC SAFETY DISCONNECTION (5h)
The hood has an automatic disconnection system to avoid it staying on for excessively long periods of time.
Once the hood is switched on, if no button on the panel or the remote has been pressed in 5 hours, the hood
will automatically switch off the motor and lights.
MAINTENANCE
It is recommended to replace the battery at least once a year or whenever the control begins to show communication
problems. To replace an exhausted battery, use a screwdriver to remove the battery cover located at the back and lower
part of the remote control, remove the dead battery and fit a new one, observing the correct polarity. Button battery,
Lithium model CR2032, 3VDC.
The used battery should be disposed of in specific containers for recycling.
TROUBLESHOOTING:
Emergency key:
If the remote control is not working, use the emergency switch, which is usually on the lower part of the hood, under the
filter or the panel that covers the filters.
Communication failure:
An exhausted or very weak battery will cause communication failures between the remote and the hood, therefore it is
recommendable to have a spare battery for replacement as soon as you observe problems.
Remote control - hood synchronisation can be lost due to external reasons, such as power cuts, electrical discharges,
interference, run-down battery. If this happens, it is necessary to carry out the synchronisation process again
.
