If the battery leaks and the electrolyte gets into your eyes, do not wipe eyes. Instead, rinse your eyes
with clean water and immediately seek medical attention. Otherwise eye injury can result.
If the battery gives off an odor, generates heat, becomes discolored or deformed, or in any way
appears abnormal during use, recharging or storage, immediately remove it from the scanner and stop
using it.
Avoid charging the battery for more than a week, as overcharging may shorten battery life. Over time,
an unused battery will discharge and must be recharged before use.
Disconnect microUSB adapter from power source when not in use.
Use battery only for its intended purposes.Store battery at 0
o
C to 40
o
C.
Avoid exposing your scanner and battery to very cold or very hot temperatures. Extreme temperatures
can cause the deformation of the scanner and reduce the charging capacity and life of your scanner
and battery.
Prevent the battery from contacting metal objects, as this can create a connection between the + and –
terminals of your battery and lead to temporary or permanent battery damage.
In case the battery terminals are dirty, clean the terminals with a dry cloth before use. Otherwise power
failure or charge failure may occur due to the poor connection with the instrument.
Never crush or puncture the battery. Avoid exposing the battery to high external pressure, which can
lead to an internal short circuit and overheating.
Do not leave the battery exposed to high temperatures for extended periods of time. Prolonged
exposure to heat (for example, inside a hot car) accelerates the deterioration of battery cells.
Remove the battery if the scanner will be stored (turned off and not plugged into AC power) for more
than two (2) weeks.
Use only the battery provided with the scanner, a replacement battery provided by Sunglow, or a
compatible battery purchased as an accessory from Sunglow.
Store the Scanner
If the scanner is not going to be used for a prolonged period of time, store the scanner for future
use.
