OTHER TROUBLE AND ERROES
When you have a trouble or error other than those mentioned in INITIAL TROUSLE DIAGNOSIS,
determine which one of the following categories it belongs to. Following a relevant flow chart,
make an appropriate check.
When the WARN. indicator lamp goes on
A
When the Warn. indicator lamp goes on because the service factor or output current exceeds
a rated value, turn off the torch switch, turn on the POWER switch (the cooling fan is
running), and then, wait. (The machine is not automatically reset unless the torch switch
is turned off.)
Even if the Warn. indicator lamp goes off automatically, do not restart welding
immediately.
Instead, keep running the cooling fan for about another 20 minutes to fully cool down inside
the welding power unit.
When you restart welding, be sure to lower the welding conditions (shorten the welding
time or lower the output current).
When the Warn. indicator lamp goes on repeatedly, stop using the machine.
It would lower insulation of internal parts or shorten their lives, resulting in a trouble
or burn-out or the equipment, never use the machine in a manner which may turn on the Warn.
Indicator lamp repeatedly.
The number [14] behind the POWER switch or [22] behind the power Indicator lamp are those
shown in parts LAYOUT drawing on Page 40 and 41.
