Setting the Center Module

For information about operations when a vehicle
detector is connected or a button for calling from
the order post is connected, refer to “Call button
connection” in “Convenient Functions” in “Operating
procedures” in the Operating Instructions <Installation
Guide>.

When set to “V/Det”, a beep tone starts from the All-
In-One Headsets and Belt Packs earphones when the
vehicle detector is ON, and the beep tone stops when
the TALK button on the All-In-One Headsets and Belt
Packs is pressed or when the vehicle detector is OFF.

When set to “Call Button”, a beep tone starts from
the All-In-One Headsets and Belt Packs when the call
button (momentary button) is pressed on the order
post, and the beep tone stops when the TALK button
on the All-In-One Headsets and Belt Packs is pressed.
If the TALK button on the All-In-One Headsets and Belt
Packs is not pressed, the beep tone continues, but
stops when 3 minutes have elapsed.

You cannot connect a button for calling from the order
post to VDET 2 (backup).

[Outside Speaker Beep]
Set whether to output the notification sound when the
call button is pressed as the beep tone from the order
post speaker.
This can only be touched when the [VDET1] setting is
“Call Button”.
ON:
The beep tone is output to the order post
speaker.
OFF:
The beep tone is not output to the order post
speaker.
Default setting: ON

The volume of the beep tone output from the order
post speaker is the same as the volume of the beep
tone output from the kitchen speaker.
Refer to “Setting the AUX SP” (p.31) for the
procedure for changing the beep volume on the
kitchen speaker.

The beep sound made when the call button is pressed
is heard until store personnel respond. When the
call button is pressed again, there may be a delay in
hearing the beep tone, depending on the timing.

Setting the All-In-One Headset
or Belt Pack [Headset]
The Headset is a general term for All-In-One Headset or
Belt Pack. The following are the procedures for performing
related settings.
How to register an ID

To talk or page using an All-In-One Headset or Belt Pack,
its ID must be registered.

For ID registration, set the Center Module to ID
registration mode, and proceed with the registration by
operating the All-In-One Headset or Belt Pack concerned.
The ID registration procedure is described below, based on
an example involving the operation of an All-In-One Headset
or Belt Pack.

On the Settings screen, touch the [Headsets]
button, and then the [ID Registration] button.

The ID registration screen appears.

The registered All-In-One Headset or Belt Pack numbers
are displayed in the [Registered Headsets] area. When ID
registration is completed successfully, the ID of the newly
registered All-In-One Headset or Belt Pack is added.
